March is bringing a series of fun filled activities with the celebration of Women's History Month, Dr. Seuss' Birthday,  St. Patrick Day,  the beginning of Spring, Spring Break and the Youth Fair!  You will find listed below the art activities related to each of these events.

For Women's History Month we will work on collages inspired by the famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

Activity

Design an everyday object with dots

Materials

· Black, White, Red, Yellow Paper 9"X12"

· Black or White pencil
· Scissors

· Glue Stick

Steps

1) Sketch your object with dots on one foreground colored paper
2) Cut out the dots
3) Glue the foreground against the background

St. Patrick's Day is on Sunday March 17 ! You are going to make your own Shamrock!
