Activities for April 2020

Spring is upon us!  We are going to practice our drawing skills.  We will also make jester and bunny hats.  You will choose one of the following activities per week for your grades.  At the end of the month, you should have at least 4 art pieces done.
This is what you need to turn in for your April grades.

The assignments  can be any of these combinations:

1) Jester hat, bunny hat, 2 lined paper drawings
Or
2) Jester hat, 3 lined paper drawings
Or
3) Bunny hat, 3 lined paper drawings
Or
4) 4 lined paper drawings

Hello Super Artists!

Until we can go back to school,  you are going to keep making art from your home.  Whatever device you use, you will need to take a picture at one point for me to see your work.  That's how I can give you a grade. I will communicate with you using Teams to help you create your assignments and send your pictures. This is how Microsoft Teams works.

If you haven't done it already, sign in to your student portal and click on Office 365 and then Teams. Play the following videos if you are having trouble. The first one is about how to sign in your student portal. The second one is about how to get in Teams.  The third one is about how to upload your assignments in Teams.  The fourth one is about how to join a live video chat in Teams.

Once you get to Teams it will look like the following image when you click on your art class section.  From there you can click on the "Assignments" section and upload your picture to the "Add work" section.  If you are having trouble with that, you can upload it through a post in the chat section titled Discussions.  Use the "Attach" button that looks like a paper clip. If that still does not work, you can show me your work when you join one of our weekly online video meetings.
Let's Review the Steps

If you are still having difficulties you can e-mail me by clicking on the blue OUTLOOK e-mail icon in your student portal and send me a message at dorothywawa@dadeschools.net

Beginning Monday, April 6, ALL STUDENTS will be accountable for their learning.  What does that mean?
It means that:
  1.  you will need to sign in to your student portal every day of the week.  That will be for your attendance.
  2.  you will need to work on ALL your assignments for ALL your classes and turn them in.  That will be for your grades.

Now Let's Start Creating!
