Women's History Month Exhibition

The District is proud to host this year’s Women’s History Month Exhibition. The 2022 theme “Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope” is not just a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers during this ongoing pandemic, but also a recognition of the thousands of ways women have provided both healing and hope throughout history. Over fifty 2- D and low-relief artworks celebrating Women’s History Month are selected for installation in the auditorium gallery of the School Board Administration Building. Board Members, community dignitaries, and thousands of visitors view this high-profile exhibition.

Congratulations to Brianna

Taste of the Tropics

Florida is home to beautiful marine and estuarine habitats that support fish and wildlife in saltwater ecosystems. This includes seagrasses, coastal marshes, mangroves and reefs. Within these delicate ecosystems lies a vast array of creatures from the endangered sea turtles, West Indian Manatees, sponges, assorted tropical fishes, grouper, eels, dolphins, stingrays, lobsters, fiddler crabs, and reef sharks, just to name a few. These delicate ecosystems are life to many of the wonderful marine life in South Florida and this exhibition invites and encourages students to research these ecosystems and explore their beauty through 2-D & 3-D art forms.
