Growing STEAMing Plants
5th Grade Projects - due on Wednesday March 30th
Assignment: build a planter to grow plants and record the results
1- Define the constraints
(the problems you might have with this project, including the planter size restrictions)
2- Take notes and think of solutions
3- Make a plan using the following resources
4- Follow your plan and adjust it if necessary
5- Record your evidence throughout the process
Example: you can plant Basil, Parsley, and Chive seeds under a thin layer of soil.
Water daily until seedlings are well established. Germination time is 1-3 weeks.
